A comparison between Quicken Online and Mint alone with their iPhone counter parts would be great.

If they would get off their butts and release a new version of Quicken for Mac that would be news. It is promised for this summer. Right.

Agreed. But from what I've read on the beta forums, it looks like a disaster! Looks like I'll be using Quicken 2007 till it dies. The changes to on line banking alone is a deal breaker. Intuit has for the last decade, gone down the toilet.

@Rodney
I have been a Quicken user since version 1 came on a 400k floppy for my 512K Mac. Since the Windows version came out Mac support has dwindled to the point of being laughable.
I tested the beta of Financial Life for Mac and it has a LONG way to go before it is ready for prime time. I have been looking at alternatives. iBank looks promising. It didn't even need a special utility to convert Quicken data files like you do for QFL. Go figger?

still using Quicken 2007? i'm still using Quicken 2005. holding out for something to replace it. i'd like to give my money to a developer that:
1. gets the "Mac experience" and makes their app intuitive to use
2. doesn't charge $60+ for a mediocre upgrade that mostly contains bug fixes rather than substantial overhauls
3. responds to user feedback
from the sound of it, Intuit still doesn't get it.

I just tried to download it on my 1st gen iPod Touch and got the message "This application can only be used on an iPhone." I thought it could be used with the Touch.

Looks like Intuit changed the requirements to say 2nd gen touch, and 2.2.1 software required. I'll update the story.

Thanks for looking into that. Bummer, though. I might have used their service if I could have used the Mobile version.

I agree with gnaihc. A comparison review of QuickenOnline and Mint would be nice. In my experience, Quicken Mobile seems to have a few more features than the Mint iPhone app, although I prefer Mint's website over Quicken's. I am forced to use Quicken because Mint doesn't support my bank or one of my credit cards whereas Quicken supports all of my finanacial accounts.

Seems it's not available in the Canadian App Store. I use Quicken Online in Canada so I'm not sure what the issue might be. Bummer
