A solid, no-nonsense pinball game. This is my favorite iPod Touch/iPhone pinball game. It's the most like a real pinball table, and as a result, sometimes the most frustrating. But all the little details are really nice, like the camera tracking, the fast frame rate, and the wooden look of the table. The table itself is engineered so that the ball follows a trajectory that is somewhat predictable once you get the hang of it. This is alternately maddening and exciting. And the graphics aren't too flashy--a problem with some recent videogame versions of pinball tables. My only complaint is that the sound effects are kind of disappointing. I give Wild West Pinball an A-.

Just a few tips from my many hours of playing:
Light all the lights at the top above the Indian Village to get multiplier.
Light all three lights to left of the Indian Village to reset the ball saver down the bottom which only allows you save a ball once (unless you light all three lights).
No idea how to "Get Mission" by the beer glass; anyone know?
Roll the ball over all the numbers by "Break Safe" to unlock the bank. The more lights that are lit in the bank when the ball goes down the hole the bigger the bonus (x5, x10 and x20). Jog the table to stop the ball getting spat out and you losing your multiplier.
On the left light all three lights next to "Kill Dirty harry" to suck the ball in to the black hole and start the feature. I've no idea how to control the ball release, it seems to be random to me; any ideas?
Opposite that light all three lights at the end of the railway track to open the Goldmine and then get the ball all the way along the track to purge the Goldmine, you have to enter the track through the greenish blob (which is the Goldmine entrance I guess) though and not the other end.
If you go along the railway track when the Goldmine is closed you accrue points depending on how long you're on the track.
I've never managed to get the ball in the "Back Door"; any ideas?
Well, that's all I know; if anyone has any more tips they'd like to share here then please do!
Matt

Hey, thanks for the tips, Matt! I am now going back for my pinball junkie fix.
