I'm a novice in the world of games - where can I get Assassin's Creed for Mac?

I'm a complete novice in the world of games but recently - mostly acting on an impulse - I downloaded Assassin's Creed for iPhone. And got completely hooked. Consequently I have tried to find the "full fledged" version for Mac - but with very little success. Can anyone help?

It doesnt' appear that there is a version of Assissin's Creed for the Mac -- but according to recent rumors online, the sequal is supposed to come out for the Mac at the same time that it comes out for various other platforms. It's listed as having a release date of Fall 2009.

Oh yeah... in case you're interested, the company that makes Assissin's Creed is Ubisoft, and while Assissin may not be one of them, they do indeed have a few other games for the Mac available for download, including a couple of recent games in the Prince of Persia series, which you might enjoy.
