is there a certain software that sets parental controls for the ADMINISTRATOR? I ask because my son has my old macbook and i don't have an account on it and don't plan to... it's his computer. I just want to be able to set a password different from his and be able to block adult content. Is there such a program?

There are a number of third party parental control software programs for the Mac. You will likely find some reviews of them on Macworld. I would assume that all of them have some sort of login function seperate from the built in user accounts of Mac OS X. Thus, you should be able to have your son still have an admin account, but not be able to log into the parental control software and adjust it.

One example is Intego's ContentBarrier: http://www.intego.com/contentbarrier/

I have not used it (I have no kids "control" and I don't feel the need to protect myself ;) ), but I do use some of Intego's other products: NetBarrier, VirusBarrier, and Personal Backup. I have used their products for a while and have always been happy with them. Thus, if I needed parental control software (and the built in Leopard functions would not suffice), then I would likely try them out.
