Nice looking app...but they must have gotten wind of the glowing review, the app is now $5 - unless the $3 shown in the review was a mistake.

One might be tempted to say that $5 is a little steep for this app, but the other side of the issue is that this mentality has developed in relation to iPhone apps that anything costing more than $2-3 is "too expensive". If people aren't willing to pay five bucks for a really good iPhone app, it's almost like relegating the iPhone to "novelty" status, which would be a tremendous waste of an amazing platform that will undoubtedly go on to bigger and better things if users have enough vision to support it.

alansky: Good point. Actually great point. In fact, great selling point!
When I switched from Windows to Mac several years ago I dreaded having to switch my software too. I thought it would cost a fortune. But in retrospect because a) the initial prices for Mac software was so low and b) their upgrade prices were always so low that I'd be ahead of the game if I had stayed with Windows and did upgrades.
The reason I'm not is that I'm so appreciative of the quality and innovation of the individual developers and small companies that make Mac OS software that I donate to them, often more than what they request. So although it may be a wash, at least I'm benefiting the people I want to.
