Please excuse my two years absence, I have some questions regarding the cut-off date for HomePage access. Please pardon me if it's in the wrong forum, I'm not familiar with the present discussion and thread format.

After the HomePage at mac.com is discontinued later this month, will I be able to delete it?

My plan is to replace my ancient G5, and establish a new web site with iWeb when I get the software updates with the new computer and the latest iLife.

Will I be able establish a new web site using my previous web address?

Will I need to establish a new web address for the new web site?

Will the old web site at HomePage continue in spite of having a new web site with iWeb?

Will I be able to delete the HomePage web site after establishing a new one with iWeb?

Are there other considerations I should be aware of?

Thank you in advance, Isshi.

You might want to try MobileMe support (http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/ww/) and ask them. They now have 24/7 online chat support.

I have the emails saved...but they are on the other boot drive (would have to reboot to get to them). If I remember, I will check them to see if there is anything in there that might answer it.

But, you might see if this answers some of your questions:

Thank you smax013.

The document you provided the link to answered most of my questions very clearly.

I was surprised to discover the cut-off date is actually 2009/6/7, which is arriving
in less than four hours (I'm in Tokyo time zone). Fortunately, that's okay, since I will
be able to delete my HomePage web site even after that date.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Best regards, Isshi.
