The S in iPhone 3GS could stand for "Suckers" for believing the fake rumors! Most will be disappointed with WWDC because either announcements will already be known, or some of the rumors will be false. Happens every time.

There's truth to that, but not every rumor is false. What's more fun is when something completely unexpected is announced. But how long has it been since that happened???

Won't be long now, I just noticed the Apple Store is closed for updates...

Well, the WWDC 2009 keynote is about to begin, and perhaps there will be some interesting hardware announcements.... The AppleStore (online) has the standard back soon announcement "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly."

Is calling it the 3GS a reference to the Apple ][GS?
Okay, probably not, but wow, that was a computer.
