eTrade Mobile Pro will not save your account password,
and it only saves your account number if you set that
option in its preferences.

Where is this option? I've looked at both Settings.app and "i" screen on the Mobile Pro app. This app is both very complicated to navigate as well as being slow to respond to user input.

The setting for the "remember my account number" is in the Setting panel of the app itself. Make sure the Menu is visible, then scroll it to the right until you see Settings. Tap Settings, and the first option is Remember User ID.
