this is an article about iPhones, i assume its not a requirement to have one to comment...
My original post was about improvements apple could do to catch up with the competition (tech-wise) and appeal to more users.
I disagree on many counts, the same way many people do, I actually like many of apples products, (i am currently writing this on a MacBook) and even develop software for the mac os x platform. We all have our complaints with apple, the most are around the iPhone, let me list a few main points:
-> App store approval (should be more like the android market approval process)
-> iPhone and tethering (should be allowed)
-> lack of iPhone freedom (you can only install apps from the app store, and apple thinks they can tell you to do whatever they want)
These are a few points on the iPhone angle only, I'm sure most people agree with me here

wow..that was really great! As IPhone becomes develop more fascinating features it has. With the latest version of Iphone 3.0 you can do shopping by just merely browsing your phone, and I've guess that would be really helpful especially to people who are opt to buy items over the internet

You know, one thing i was looking for, and now want to see in their next update, is, for the zipcar app, was paying for the zipcar in app, that would be amazing, I myself don't use zipcar, but that would be really cool, do it all from you phone.
Another one of those things was in the guitar one, it would be cool if it had a preview guitar in the app, so you could preview palying the guitar with those settings, like many guitar playing apps already there, strings on screen

I got a Blackberry Curve from T-Mobile about 6 months ago. I use it to tether my MacBook Pro over Bluetooth with unlimited internet and tethering access for $25/mo plus $30/mo for the voice plan (no messaging). It has voice recognition, a very good 3MP camera, movie shooting, and GPS mapping and direction indication. The iPhone is still too expensive. And you know ATT is going to nail you big time for tethering; they can't help themselves.

Apple Inc. has put me in business, made me competitive, and allowed me to eek out a living and send my son to college. So far, everything that Steve Jobs thought I could use and which I bought has been a contribution to my professional and personal life. So, if you are either a "computer person" (don't know what that exactly is), or are new to computing, perhaps Linux and a random PC box is the ticket, but if you want a well-thought out and integrated computing concept, plus a superior user experience, plus gadgets that hook into that from a visionary company that has been around a long time and which you can count on to stay around a long time, then Apple doesn't seem a bad choice, especially when compared to having to cobble together a variety of components yourself to have a somewhat similar (or arguably "better") experience.

Just curious: Does T-Mobile limit your bandwith after downloading a certain amount of volume? Over here, my connection speed drops to 64 KB/s after using a data volume of 300 MB.

Seriously? You think Apple needs to step up it's game because Android got out half baked updates a month earlier?
You do know who is playing catchup in the market right? I'm not saying that Android is not very nice, but Apple has hardly been asleep at the wheel and currently they are the ones to beat so it is android that needs to be ahead of the curve if it wants to overtake.
So Cupcake brings video capture but not editing. It brings stereo bluetooth but not bluetooth file-sharing. It has an updated Javascript engine but the iPhone has a faster one. It has voice dialing but wow! apple released dialing and more.
The real votes will come from the developers who are empowered by the OS and APIs Apple and Google provide, and again here Android has a lot of work to do! IMHO.
