With iPhone Favorites I can double click the home button and dial a contact's main number with one tap from the list. It would be nice if this app had this one simple feature. Basically what I would like is the iPhone Favorites app with pictures.

"I’ve become increasingly annoyed with the inability to categorize contacts into groups, like friends, family, clients, and so on."
I'm not sure what you mean, I have my contacts categorized in groups similar to that. I don't know that you can manipulate groups from the iPhone itself, I always handle that from my address book. Perhaps that's what you mean, the inability to categorize contacts from within the iPhone itself. But groups/categories are already there and are quite useful.

Yes, I have my Contacts (synched from my Address Book) organized in groups, but I wish I could organize the Favorites list in groups. Unless there's some way to do this that I'm not aware of, this is just presented as a single list.
