Apple gets stay lifted in Psystar case

As I have stated in the past. Apple will not be able to recall previously purchased Psystar computers. This is verified as of today. Those buying these excellent and nicely priced machines will not lose them if Psystar loses the case. I've been very happy with my Psystar Macs and the service support has been very good. IOW, no guy from India talking to me, no Genius Bar BS, just good old Americans with the right answers.

What an ignorant comment. I've been using Macs since 1984, and been using Apple support since that time. I've NEVER had India based tech support from them. As for the Genius Bar, what's not to like about being able to take your machine in to a place that knows what they are doing and sit there with them as they diagnose and many times resolve your issue while you wait? You are a moron.

Yes, jman3001 is quite obviously a shill. Nothing in the article states or implies that Apple cannot have every single Open Computer sold with OS X recalled. If anything, the article shows that it is a possibility given that Apple forfeit monetary compensation to allow their case to move forward. Everything else he posted are the typical FUD, allegory and lies that populate every one of his posts.

I was referring to his posts in general as well as the one here. Also, I would have to say that stating, ?no guy from India talking to me, no Genius Bar BS? in reference to Apple?s support constitutes FUD.
Let's also not forget that he swore he'd dump the MacOS in favour of Windows if the court ruled that tying the MacOS to Apple hardware was legal. Yet he still uses the MacOS.
Thief, shill, liar, FUDster. Quite a resume.

Actually, @jman3001 isn't a moron, he's a shill.
Yes... he's a shill, and at this point I'd have to say that he's effectively in the "misery loves company" phase.
The more interesting facts of the matter are that if Apple successfully obtains a compulsory recall of all of Psystar's hackintosh computers, then Psystar really will go down in flames -- and to add insult to injury, they may end up taking their customers down with them; which is to say, poor little ol jman could actually be forced to give up his precious computer(s), or potentially face a fine of up to $5000. (Source: Wikipedia)
I would imagine that deep down, jman absolutely dreads that notion, and at this point his only remaining defenses against the tears which are threatening to overcome him are 1) utter denial of the terrible truth, and 2) convincing as many people as possible to join him in his ever growing uncertainty. Sadly, (for him, at least) I don't think he's actually convincing anyone...

Well you pretty much just described what he has been doing since joining these boards last year. Every one of his posts have been anti-Apple FUD, allegory and lies in the fact of factual rebuttals that early on were often joined with legitimate, linked, objective citations to the contrary of everything jman3001 has ever stated. He has from the outset attempted to convince anyone reading Psystar threads that they should be buying Psystar?s street vendor knockoffs instead of the genuine article using long disproved Mac myths.
At this point the idea of someone like jman3001 being fined $5000 just brings a smile to my face. If he is fined on a per system basis, all the better.

Apple wants to pursue this so they have the opportunity to set a precedent. It's going to cost them and they wont make any money out of it and Psystar is already broke, they just need a judge to say that what Psystar was doing is wrong.
And about Psystar going broke, I think it shows that Macs really arent that expensive. If Psystar cant make money out of building Macs then that a clear indication that Apple has their prices where they need to be. Oh, and I hate the wait at the Genius Bar too...
