Deleting file attachments in Mail

Hi,

Having just switched from Entourage to Mail, I notice that unlike the former, I am not able to delete attachments like Word from my emails. When I right click on say a Word attachment, I can Open or Save but what I'd really like to do is to delete that attachment.

Is this not possible?

Under the message menu, go to remove attachments
