I glided through my business/finance classes on my HP 19BII. I loved the solver and much easier learning curve due to the selectable menus and soft keys.
How could HP design such a brilliant tool and then crap out on the battery compartment cover? Changing the batteries was trickier than the TVM calculations I often pushed through it.
Good to see HP keep some of the past alive on Apple's new gizmos.

According to HP, the target market for these apps is people who have history with them. The identical layout and functionality means there's no adjustment period; you're instantly familiar with the layout and functionality.
