Well there's the answer. She's not disgusted by what she's seeing on the screen. Microsoft can't get good ads made, because deep down there's almost nothing positive to be said about them. They get a mix of soulless ads (from people who can live with spinning Microsoft positive) and crappy ads (from creative people who still want to be able to live with themselves). This one's squarely in the crappy category -- somewhere deep down the people who made this ad must have wanted to stick it to Microsoft. Poor business strategy, but I bet they'll sleep better at night for it.

This is simply yet another POS copy/steal job by MS which they then want to advertise that they finally have it.

A research project from the University of Salford, U.K. found out, using an online pool, the worst sound ever. Guess what came first? Vomiting. How does anyone think this ad could work?

Sure the ad wasn't all that funny. But I think it says a lot that people took time out of their day to say they were "offended". That was some of the least realistic, mildest fake vomit I'v ever seen. It was obviously not meant to look too real. If any one was so offended that they felt the need to write to Microsoft about it, that should have been their first clue that they need to get a life. If any of those people are reading this I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being the kind of over sensitive person that insists on making this world that much blander for the rest of us.

Highly doubtful that "much of the feedback to this particular piece of creative was positive". Rarely does a company get positive feedback. But they always hear from those who don't like something. I always think that phrase is stupid when a company admits to wrong doing. If it was all so positive, just ignore those who don't like it. right?
