I cannot get to the second log-in page of my bank now that I use Safari 4.0. I had no trouble with previous versions of Safari. The only way I can log in is to use Firefox. With Safari I can enter the user ID on the first log in page, but the second log in page will not come up with Safari.

-Hi,

Other folks have had issues trying to login to their bank with Safari 4.x. I'd contact the credit union and ask if there is indeed a problem. They might suggest Firefox.

Acutally, I did that and the bank said what you suggested. I was hoping that Safari had a work around. So, I guess I'll have to use Firefox. I wonder why Apple can't fix the problem?

Try just changing the user agent, in preferences go to advanced, and then show develop menu, then go to Develop>user agent>firefox 2.x.x or 3.x.x
