I'm new to MAC, literally just bought my first one 2 days ago....
When I click on Photo Booth in the tray it doesn't appear??? The toolbar appears but the usual screen with effects and preview and etc doesn't appear....... I know Camera works because I'v tried using it with I chat...
I figure I did something wrong and hopefully it's an easy fix
:/

Ooops sorry I did mean Dock lol......
But yes the light is on.... and yes I clicked on the icon, the light comes on when clicking on the icon and the toolbar above works... I just dont see myself when taking a picture or see the effects, basically I just see my desktop..
In the above toolbar I've tried to see maybe if i had something turned off it appears I do not.....
I'm just confused by this.
I have a MaBook

It comes to mind that even though you may not be aware, it is possible for the window to be open outside of your viewing area. Say, if you drag a window all the way to the bottom of the screen or all the way off of a side, it will reopen in that position every time from then until you move it. It may be barely visible somewhere around the perimeter of your screen (and it may not, though it should be).
You can try this: With PhotoBooth open, open System Preferences, choose Displays. Under the Display tab, note your current resolution and then change your screen resolution to something like 800 x 600. This has a way of re-gathering your windows. Close any other open windows to see PhotoBooth's window shows. Reposition it to a more center of the screen area, then change your resolution back to its original setting.
Just a thought...
