Like other smartphones, the Blackberry is a phone with PDA type features. The iPhone is not in that category. It is a netbook that fits in your pocket, with a phone built in. Until the others can become netbooks, they can't match iPhone.

Having just switched from a BlackBerry Curve to an iPhone 3GS, I agree that the iPhone offers far more than the BlackBerry. While I am sure that I will eventually feel as comfortable with my iPhone as I did with my BlackBerry there is a definite learning curve and there have been times over the last couple of weeks that I have missed having a physical key board (as opposed to a touch screen).

I found the Pogo Stylus (or Pogo Sketch) made a big help and type a lot faster like a "real" keyboard.

Cmon people. Most of you guys are one track mind. I myself love apple and only use apple computers. I haven't switched to iphone yet because I don't like att. I have used the ipphone though for a couple of weeks and there is no other phone that works as smooth and efficient as the iphone. But when it comes to email and work related work the iphone is still behind. The bb has better security, better business related software and has a keyboard. When it comes to the business area the bb beats the iphone hands down. Not only that buy all bb's can tether right out of the box. The only way to tether on iphone right now is to jailbreak it which apple says is illegal. Also the iphone still can't run multiple apps at one time. There are plenty of phones out there that can. So in the end the iphone is not the best phone out there for everything. If you want a fun phone to play with then get iphone, but If you want a business efficient phone then get a bb or windows mobile device. I understand this is a Macworld article but stick to the facts and stop making stuff up. That is just so immature and unproffesional.

Great point. Its all about showing off with some apple accessories. There are plenty of mp3s out there that have fm tuner and removable batteries. Why can't apple do this? Dont get me wrong, apple has the best OS ,but stick to the facts. There are other choices out there. Apple will need to start stepping up to the plate when it comes to features instead of counting on all the mac fanboys out there.

I totally agree. Real keyboards for e-mail are much more accurate and I would not switch to ATT for anything.
