Hi there,
I have a MAC and I want to stream my uni lectures. The videos (apaprently) come from a Windows Streaming server. I have tried installing Flip for Mac but it opens the video in a new window and doesn't play at all. Seems to freeze on the first frame. It does this when Quicktime is set as the player.
I have seen other people at uni stream it to their Mac's, it is embedded in the web page (as it should be) and it looks fine.
I am sure that there is a weird setting somewhere that I don't know about. Should I try to install it again?
thanks,
Suzie.

It is being streamed from University. They are using a Windows media server. So it will obviously be in Windows format.
I have no plugins installed, however I had Flip for Mac, but removed it as it didn't work for these types of videos.
Nothing is suggested to install. As I said, others at Uni can play it on their Macs.
