Hey everyone:
I'm not an especially big gamer, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good free games- 1P shooters would be great- but really, I'm interested in any free games out there.

Well, you could also try online games, theres lots of cool free games available online...

If you are looking for standalone game, you absolutely have to try world of padman as well :) its a multiplatform game for linux, windows and mac :)

I play online games the most but sometimes we play this game as friends in lan with different OS'es :)

The Marathin series is always awesome there are new Hi-Rez packs for it too. Here is the link just go to get and download Aleph One and a scenario then drop aleph one into the game folder then launch it.

its great fun and the online is sweet too. go to Mariusnet.com to make a account to have you name in the lobby.
