I have around 100 GB of music in my iTunes library. iTunes by default keeps album art for songs in a folder inside of your Music folder. So that I could see album artwork when playing my songs on my Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone, I ran an Applescript from Doug's iTunes scripts to embed all of the album artwork in my library. It seems like iTunes loads my artwork slower when I am scrolling through large amount of album covers in "Grid" mode. Does iTunes naturally load album artwork slower when it's embedded because it has to looks through all of the individual song files to get the album artwork as opposed to having them stored in one centralized location in the Music folder? If this is the case, is there anyway that I would be able to un-embed the album artwork and have iTunes keep it in the default location? I care more about speedy viewing in iTunes than having artwork accessible on my cell phone.
Thanks,
-Scott
