Ok, I tried to print an address and return address on a #10 envelope in Text Edit and then in Address Book and I CAN NOT GET THE RETURN ADDRESS IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER!!!! I get a 5/8" margin top and side with Text Edit, even after zeroing the margins in Print+Fax Preferences. So then I tried Address Book...Still getting the 5/8" margin but now it cuts my first name, address and town in half!!???!! WTF am I missing something really basic? any help..thanks

If it's worth $13USD, give Addressix a try.

If you have Pages, it appears you can print envelopes in that program.

I have a Palm PDA and all my envelopes print from within that program. No use to you unless you use Palm, however.

There is a very good "FREE" program for addressing envelopes and does a good job with your return address. It is called Snail Mail. You can even make the return address a different size than your address. It works with your address book and uses your vcard as the return address. You don't have to have the address in address book, but it does go faster that way.

Do you have a link for Snail Mail? I did a search on Version Tracker to no avail. Also, no luck on the first couple of pages of a Google search.

Sorry, I did not realize that the snail mail program had been discontinued. It was put out by http://nixanz.com/, and still works great. I am using snow leopard and it still works great. I had originally gotten it from version tracker but they apparently don't have it in their inventory. Good luck finding a copy.......

I tried Easy Envelope and found it pretty cool. Thanks for the referral, it'll be a handy widget for the occasional envelope.
