Ever since I installed Snow Leopard I have had massive system slowdowns on my 2009 iMac. Everything from opening folders to typing in a name in the search field in address book. I called Mac Tech support and they had me trash a cache folder from the library which seemed to help but it is still very slow. For example as I type I'm downloading an update of iTunes and when it started it said it would take 9 minutes.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What is the issue?
