The regular edition of Parallels costs $79.99 (same as VMWare Fusion), and is actually the exact same software as what is found in the Switch to Mac edition. For that extra $20, you get some nice video tutorials and a USB cable. If you are really unsure about how to do things like this, that might be worth it for you. However, the regular edition's help files can the process just as well (but with written words, not video tutorials), and the Parallels Transporter software that actually does the migration is very straightforward to use: about as difficult as the average Windows program installer. Plus, you will have to supply your own cable to connect your computers.

Don't forget the *free* VirtualBox for running Windows, Linux, etc. on Mac: www.virtualbox.org

You also forgot Wine which can run some Windows applications and games, which has a professional offering of Codeweaver's Crossover for Mac (I think there's a Linux version as well).

Can I run ADSL internet connection via a Mac Mini using bootcamp and windows. I'm not sure there is a wireless adapter although of course its OK vis OS X. You need this to do eTax as eTax does not work on OS X

Bootcamp works for me, some of the tools I use won't recognize a virtual machine, mostly game coding software.
