Hi,

Ignoring that Snow Leopard was featuring a new type of QuickTime, I re-installed from backup the old version I had on OS 10.5.8, de facto erasing the newly installed version.

I tried re-installing QT X from the provided Software Installation DVD to no avail.

Is there a way to get back the QuickTime X on my new iMac?

Thanks,

SP

Hi Doug,

Thanks for your reference. It does not really answer my question (most post concern getting back to QuickTime v. 7, especially if one had the Pro version).
But I will keep searching or get the Pro version of the free QuickTIme.

Regards,

Serge
