I spent 10 minutes tonight looking for information on the 2010 Macworld Expo, and searching these forums had to conclude that with the withdrawl of Apple from the event, it had been canceled outright (somehow without me noticing despite my daily visits to macworld.com).

Finally I googled it.... and there it is... at http://www.macworldexpo.com

Well it might have been nice if one of the forums here on macworld.com, in the Macworld Expo section, had announced that fact! So... here it is. An announcement.

Well it might have been nice if one of the forums here on macworld.com, in the Macworld Expo section, had announced that fact! So... here it is. An announcement.

Although we share the "Macworld" name with Expo, we're not the same organization. So the Macworld Expo section of these forums involves our coverage of Expo rather than providing the inside dope (which, as you discovered, can be found at the website you mentioned). Because Expo is a yearly event, this forum section picks up in winter and then dies down. I expect you'll see increasing numbers of posts here as we get closer to Expo in February.

Well for goodness sakes! Somehow the distinction eluded me, sorry for the mixup.
