Help
Does anyone know of a Mac computer based surveillance system. I need to put in a video surveillance system in my garage which is a 1/2 mile from house. I see all these systems on eBay for a PC, but I like my Mac's and would be much more savvy with a mac system. If I get the PC system, I would have to mate the Windows system to a Mac network to connect to the internet. It would be easier to just stay all Mac if Ican. I am looking for a 4 camera system and the software to run it.

I use both EvoCam & SecuritySpy with my wireless Panasonic network camera and they both work well. However at 1/2 mile, I'm not sure how you would get a wireless network to span that distance..

seen this post long ago but had nothing to say backe then since I was looking for same. And I was hesitant until recently when there was software released that finally met my requirements (one of which was of course compatibility with my Mac OS X 10.6). Using xeoma for over a week now and am ready to buy it. GUI is something there and does very well with long range surveillance issues.
