I won tickets to Macworld! But should I go?

So I won tickets to Macworld by participating in a blog contest. I am really excited but I'm contemplating whether or not to go. See, I'm a high school student in Texas and Macworld would be taking place during school. Is Macworld something that is worth skipping school, buying a plane ticket, and paying for a hotel for or should I just let this year pass?
