The iPad and digital comics

A big problem is that neither iVerse or Panelfly are available in my store (Canada). Comics is, so I'm going to try that. I've used myComics in the past for .cbr/.cbz comics and I'm also looking at ComicBookLover.
I'm really hoping for a good digital comics solution with an open format so I can get easy access to titles. I've had a hard time in the past getting some of the smaller titles at the local stores so an on-line alternative that I could view on the iPhone, iPad and computer would be great. My only concern is being locked to a specific app.

You really need to try ComicZeal which is now for the iPhone and is under modification currently for the coming iPad. It is a superior solution for open format comic books.
ComicBookLover is a great app for the Mac, BTW, but I prefer to read comics laying on the couch or in bed so ComicZeal and the iPad are going to seriously rock, and I don't just say that as a beta tester.

ComicBookLover for the iPad is under development. It will likely be my choice.
