Hi,

Any plans for a comparison with similar products, eg http://lastpass.com/ ?

I am tempted to switch as its multi-platform/cloud (aka auto-backed up).

Thanks,
Chris

I'm a big fan of 1Password. Great program backed up by a great developer. They are constantly updating 1Password for both the Mac and the iPhone. I am a very happy user / customer.

A wonderful app. I use it everyday and the integration with Firefox is sweet. The dropbox setup is great too to keep my passwords on both my iMac and Macbook Pro.

The developer updates are appreciated.

Some of the best software I ever bought in over thirty years! 1Password is synced on all my Macs and iPhone (soon the iPad) and I securely access logins, serial numbers and financial data everywhere.

I have the Pro version and use the bookmarklet to log in to pages on Safari. That feature is worth the extra $3 in my opinion. Too annoying to open Safari, realize I need to copy my pw, close Safari, open 1Password, copy pw, close it, re-open Safari....you get the point.

I initially tried SplashID but I just couldn't get my head shaped in the same way as the developer's, so I ditched it. The way that it worked just never made sense to me. I went to 1Password on both my Mac and my iPhone. Glad I did—it's an awesome app. I even bought both versions for my wife and now she uses them all the time as well.

HI, I wanted to add a comment about the 1Password products…….I have been using the mac version for 6-10 months and I have found it to be the easiest and most professional way to keep track of passwords. I downloaded the iPhone version shortly afterwards and it continued to impress me. I just order the iPad and upgraded to the 1Password Pro version after discussions with the makers of 1Password and getting their input about this switch. I equally found them to be professional and very generous in their response to me in handling the questions and requests I made of them. I recommend their products. They are a truly 5 star product.

Keep up the great work.

Great piece of software works very well with my iMac and Mac Book but not happy with the way it works on the iPad/iPhone...Need to copy and paste when asked for password that is a real pain........Also I needed to pay for the App in the iTune store which added $15.00 pulse tax to the cost of the $40.00..1Password notes that the licensed is a ³per person² basis, not a ³per computer² basis. A single-user license allows you to install and use
1Password on. They call this their Sane Licensing Model, as there is only one of you so you should only need one license for all your machines.

Bottom line for me is that 1Passowrd is worth the cost even with those pitfalls... 4 out of 5 only because of having to pay again...

Great App & Program. Perhaps Mac World should consider placing them on your advisory board, then perhaps Mac World would be as easy to use and as user friendly as 1Password. The support staff at 1Password is fantastic, respond quickly to questions and I have yet to see them fail to resolve any of my issues, most of which were created by my manipulations.

Love the way my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, PowerMac & iMac all synch with through Drpo Box without any steps on my part. All Macs & 1Password are always on the same page.

Thank you, Agile!!!

1 Password is an indispensable application. I use it every day. The support team is also very helpful. I was having trouble syncing my iPhone with 1 Password on my Mac. They directed me to sync with Dropbox and now my passwords automatically sync with the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I highly recommend this product.

I have installed a whole lot of apps for my iPad 1 and now iPad 2 and let me say this. What a awesome app 1password pro has. I usually feel guilty if I pay over 4 dollars on an app because soon I most likely will not use it after a while, but not 1password. It is the one app that should have came with the iPad, I have all my wallet info, all my passwords, and the list goes on and it is safe from anyone that tries to use it. I have emailed the people at 1password a few times asking questions and every single time they get right back to me, and that in itself means allot. Thank you 1password
