Hands on with iPhone 4

Any news from Apple on the expected/actual signal strength improvements from the new antennas? I'm excited to upgrade to n draft wifi, but really looking for better 3G reception. It's a phone after all, even though it easy to forget that!

Its gonna be hard not to drop my 3gs. Accidents, they're so unpredictable.

I knew not buying the FIRST iPad would pay off!
I just want to know if it really is iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 ONLY, since iPhone 4 to iChat seems a obvious 2nd option! Me wants!

However, one of the features I appreciate in my current phone is that even when it's switched off, even when the battery has died and 48 hours have passed and the phone just won't switch on at all; even then, the alarm still goes off at 6am the next morning, and snoozes and goes off again.
From what I've read of the current iPhones I'm going to sorely miss this feature. Has it been rectified in the iPhone4? Clearly there's no way you could have established this during your hands-on but can you get a straight answer from Apple? And no, Aeroplane mode is not a substitute. Sometimes I would see the battery level was very low on my phone and not wanting to be disturbed in the night by the battery level alarm, I've purposely turned it off completely safe in the knowledge the alarm would still go off the next morning.

Question: other than the cases (which I assume will not work because of different size of the iPhone 4) will our other accessories still work with the device (most importantly docks)? Since I have invested $200 in docks for home and work, I really do not want to replace.
I also am assuming that it will be the same charging setup as the 3GS?
Thanks for your help.

I've been looking forward to getting an iPhone as a single device to replace that pair. The thing that's been stopping me is the maximum available storage on the iPhone. Until about a year ago, 32gb would have been just about enough. But my media files breached the 32gb barrier a while ago, and recently went over 40gb - that is why I upgraded the old iPod, although the iPod Touch has been kind of amazing for me, as it's allowed me to replace my very, very old Palm Tungsten T (although I still miss Graffiti handwriting input) as well as being great for couch-potato reading, web browsing, and email/Twittering.
But it looks like the new iPhone isn't for me. I've wanted an iPhone since they were first released, but the storage capacity has always been a non-starter for me. I want a single device, and unless the iPhone is made available with at least 48gb of storage, that just can't happen for me.
I know that I can transfer only a subset of my media files, but I prefer to have everything with me. I think of it has one of my backup sets (along with offsite DVD and redundant hard drive backups) and I don't want to be forced to pick and choose among my files when syncing my portable device.
I don't see why they could have included a larger storage unit - say, 64gb - into the iPhone 4. I'm sure it would be more expensive, but it should be made available for those of us with an iPod Touch looking to cut down on the number of devices we need to tote around. Until then, my old phone will have to do.

Two things:
1) Alarm clocks are cheap
2) If you are that desperate I am sure you can relay your old phone to that duty exclusively.

A sport model that's waterproof and built like a rock.
A tourist model with a SD card reader and GPS as a must.
A productivity model, perhaps with a larger screen but still pocket-sized.
A kids model built to take abuse. Make it a bit bigger but keep the price down.

I didn't say it was a dealbreaker, I'm still getting an iPhone. Fact is the solution provided by my current phone is a greatly appreciated feature for me and it wouldn't be of any consequence to those that don't need it.
Having one device as my phone/mp3 player/camera and yes alarm clock would be great. I don't as it happens have a bedside table to put an alarm clock on my side of the bed, and hotels rarely provide alarm clocks either.
