I've been blogging in WordPress (.org) for a year and the software / interface has been very impressive. I think this upgrade will blast it into orbit. Look for a lot more companies to use it for their main CMS.

WP 3.0 certainly looks pretty and has impressive features. Congrats to Automattic and the WP.org volunteers.
I still prefer Drupal though. Unlimited possibilities, and under the hood the cleanest of the big three CMSes.

If I do update to 3.0, will it affect how all everything is already working?
I had another guy set it up for me with a custom theme, so I have no idea how this upgrade will change things.
Any ideas?

The automatic update didn't work in my case, but it's running on IIS (don't ask) so any number of things could have caused that.
I've only been working with WP for a few weeks now, but I've already learned lots of ways to blow it up.

WordPress is awesome, been using it for several months now, and free is a price you can't beat. I love how it goes against capitalistic orthodoxy: get a group of people to provide something for free, and it takes off to the stratosphere(of course, the enterprise users give a lot of them work).
