I am looking to get my first Mac (ibook) and I really would like to use it @ work.
Anyway, the only roadblock I see, is that the company I work for uses Lotus Notes 4.6
for company mail, etc. Yeah, yuck, I know.
I am not a Mac expert, hence my question...
is it possible (either natively or through some sort of emulation, or other divine intervention) to run Lotus Notes 4.6 on a Mac? I still am a PC guy..a Linux PC guy.. not one of the wintel masses...and after seeing and playing with OSX, I am ready to cross sides images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks in advance

There is supposedly a Mac Lotus Notes Client available (with registration) in the downloads section at Lotus/IBM.

I haven't tried it yet because I run a Notes 4.6 under Win95 on my G4 running inside a Virtual PC session ( www.connectix.com ). The other reason is that my company has our notes mail databases "web enabled" which allows me to look at my emails via a web browser once I'm into the intranet. The web browser version is OK if your justy looking at your email, doesn't help with any Notes applications/databases.

regards,

Michael
