I have used ecto since version 2. However, when IllumineX bought the program, they promptly stopped supporting it. They haven't been active in their support forums for months. In fact, they have now completely deleted those forums, claiming it was an accident. (Users were actively complaining how the lack of support, so this seems a little too convenient to me.)
It's a pity. This was a great platform. Unfortunately, it is getting long in the tooth. Since the introduction of WordPress 3, you can no longer schedule posts via ecto. I have moved onto MarsEdit, where a very active developer actually responds to users!
