Someone needs to tell Steve Jobs that people want HD on their TVs. If they want to make a low end piece of junk device, why not just use an RF output, so that people can use it with their old CRTs.

The new Apple TV is a total piece of junk :( It would have been ok if this was 1999.

I've had a 1920x1080 HDTV for 10 years. Why is Apple so far behind? Even the cable company is ahead of them.

His answer:
"you're watching it the wrong way! Just sit 30 feet away from your TV, you won't notice the difference."

(disclaimer: OK, I made that one up, but I totally think he could say something like that.)

Someone needs to tell Steve Jobs that people who are paying $5 to rent a movie on iTunes should be able to access the subtitles (closed captioning).

The new Apple TV sounds good for the U.S., but it's not much use in other countries where the iTunes Store doesn't offer movies or TV shows.
