Oops, I guess I spoke too quickly. This is a prime example of why there was so much resistance to Obama carrying a Blackberry, although I think RIM has a better understanding of security than the twitter people. That the White House was impacted by the twitter worm anyway is really quite troubling. Even though it's not military, the post of press secretary IS rather important.

The headline is a very poor choice. It accuses Twitter of ignoring the threat, failing to act before the exploit occurred. Clearly the story is a different one. Major mismatch.
