I could definitely benefit from this device as I like to listen to podcasts while making lunch or something. However, the $199 price tag seems a little steep.

I'm on the fence with bluetooth speakers... despite the good reviews of this model and the FoxL, it's still hard for me to believe that good sound can come from such a small package.

I own the FoxL and i really love it, is there any difference in sound between the two. My only complaint was that the FoxL distorts quite quickly when run from battery, it is much louder without distortion when run from AC-power (not USB-power though).
Is the Jambox better in this regard?

Thanks!

I bought the black one on a whim and don't regret it. The sound is amazing for it's size and anyone who walks in whilst it's playing always looks round to see where the sound is coming from, no one believes such a nice sound can come from such a small box. The article mentions that it doesn't dance around to the vibrations of the bass but I have had it slide very slowly across the table and drop off. Thankfully it is well built and it survived without a scratch but I do tend to keep an eye on it now to prevent it happening again.

Highly recommended!
