This review made me feel better about my recent purchase. I really like my new Blu Ray player, but there is one small problem. The Media Streaming Software for this machine, does not work on a MAC! I'm surprised this review does not mention that! The review mentions that you can use any DLNA server. Unfortunately, I don't know what that is, or have one. I would have expected a mention of the MAC incompatible software and a solution from this site. If anyone knows of a way for me to get my iMac to "talk" to my Blu Ray, that would be great.

I purchased this player about a month ago. I'm not sure if Samsung's media streaming software works with anything as I tried it on the 'pc side' of my iMac and got no connection whatsoever and the software and the manual were no help at all. However, I happened across the Twonky family of software (http://www.twonky.co.../downloads.aspx) and the Twonky Server works great enabling the player to see all the photos, music and videos on my iMac. You can download the Server for free and try it for 30 days ... the cost is <$20 and I'm definitely going to make the purchase. I've been using it for more than two weeks now and I'm very pleased overall. You may not be able to play all your music/videos, but those issues are more related to iTunes protected/purchased files, the newer m4a music files and the video playback capabilities of the player itself.
