God awful review. The score should be higher just by what you typed about it. And your criticisms are not justified. "And the images that the player sends to your HDTV, while usually good and occasionally very good, can't match what we've seen from the best players?" Oh really? And how much are those "best players." Seems like everyone else thought it bested your "reference player" - PS3. This this just rocks. All my friends love it too. It is an awesome player with especially great sound and picture. It also has a sexy look to the player. Hell it bests a reference redbook cd player I have for music enjoyment alone!
