Apple TV?

Are they sure this wasn't and Apple-only list? :-)

I work for a small Apple-authorized retailer, and yes, iPads, MacBook Airs AND Apple TV's have been absolutely FLYING off the shelves. It's amazing!

Yep, despite some of the issues I have with the iPad, I favor and use it more than my iPhone. I really wish it could be a laptop replacement. Maybe some day it will.

Cydia on Mac is really good news. It's also good for the Mac store. Apple wants a gated community, with all kinds of rules, great! The customer at least has a real choice between the "safety" of Apple endorsed stuff, or (likely) less restricted Cydia store. It's a win-win. Curious though if participating in the Mac store will preclude a program from being in any other store.

Either way, these are just repositories with a payment system in place. Nothing really new here, and one can still install via traditional means. Choice is good though.

Mock all you want, but at $99 and with the flawless and tight integration with iTunes, it's no surprise to me that they are moving.

Having more third party support for AirTunes would help even more

I would suggest that Stevie's heart would be at the South Pole where the ice goes down to the bottom. The North Pole has ice floating on about 13980 ft of water. Maintaining an accurate heart location service would be difficult.

Cheers

I'm looking for alternatives to cable, apple tv is in the running I've been useing netflex on my iPad and have been impressed, look out comcast! I still have a complaint with the iPad's iOS 4.2 they reduced the power output for my camera connection kit and have made it less user friendly, my USB microphone worked well with iOS 3.2.2 no longer works with iOS 4.2. if apple wants to make my battery last longer, at least ask me! I had no problems with it.
