I use Motion X GPS, which is cheaper and seems to offer more benefits.

I have SketchBook Pro and TouchDraw and have and tried various others.
For drawing (I do mostly technical diagrams), I LOVE TouchDraw!!! If you do any technical drawing - it rocks beyond any other. It has a very good touch interface and you can put drawings together very rapidly.
However, it is not an artist program as much as SketchBook Pro is, so it depends what you need.

I had Brushes on iPhone, but it seemed underpowered for iPad. So I bought SketchBook Pro (which right now is on sale for $2, BTW), but I found the UI quite clumsy. Its strength at the time were the brushes.
Then one day ArtStudio was on sale for a buck and I picked it up: In almost every respect I find it better than SB Pro. Moreover, it's been continuously and significantly evolving. The latest version does gradients, Photoshop-style selections, custom brushes (up to 128x128 pixels with full color access), etc. all while maintaining an intuitive interface (though admittedly the interface is not "pretty"; the developer should perhaps hire a specialized artist for that bit). It's easily my favourite iPad app purchase.
Looks like Inspire Pro is on sale for a buck. I'll give it a shot (I've read some raves about its color mixing abilities).
