I made the mistake of buying the original Kobo reader and less than 6 months later they come up with this wireless model which offers only slight improvements. The fact is that you're rarely going to use the wireless since there's so keyboard and using the navigation button is painful. I didn't find the new one that much faster in page turns so I'm not upgrading. The main factor people overlook is that Kobo is always publishing ebook discount coupons because with or without the coupons, their ebook prices are not competitive with Amazon or Barnes and Noble. With my iPad I buy ebooks from the one offering the best price and sadly it is rarely Kobobooks. The other very annoying problem is that many of my Kobo ebooks are not formatted properly and often chapters will repeat or pictures/layout is cut in half. You can tell they ran some quick conversion program to turn the book into an ebook and you only discover these problems after you buy the ebook - thus, no quality control. It takes up to a week to get a response from Kobobooks and then you're told they've submitted the ebook for "reworking", often they give me a credit back and take the book off the estore - other times, they can't give you an estimate of when the ebook will be properly paginated and re-released. I can't wait and I'm not rereading again so you've got no choice but to muddle through - kills the ebook experience especially for travel books.
