The case—which is a bit bulkier than your typical iPhone 4 case—connects to the phone’s dock-connector port and provides two physical control buttons on one side.
With the explosion of games in the App store, it simply boggles my mind that there isn't at least one - if not five! - companies that have iPhone cases with a D-Pad on the left and a couple of buttons on the right with the iPhone in the middle.
It's simply astounding that the first case with buttons only has two and is aimed at the camera (hear that Apple? Camera+ wasn't too far off on using the volume buttons for the shutter!).

Another cool find at CES is the solar-powered iPod sound system. http://www.energyiny...php?t=100000188

Sadly the iControlPad, CP GamePad, etc. don't seem to be real products just yet...
I'm also puzzled that Bluetooth game controllers don't seem to be widely available for the iPhone (etc.) or for Android/Windows 7 Phone/other phones.
Also, since many iPhone/iPod/iPad music apps (SynthStation, iMS-20, NanoStudio, etc.) support USB MIDI keyboards via Apple's USB Camera Connection Kit, I don't think it should be difficult for games to support USB game controllers, which are inexpensive and readily available.
