Nice collection, although I'm surprised there was no mention of the first iMac commercials—certainly a pivotal point in Apple's history.

The 4-minute commercial, titled "Simplicity Shootout", is one of the few Apple commercials actually showing the advantage and function of a Mac. Besides, it's one of the cutest they had ever done. Sadly, things haven't changed much in terms of their respective operating systems.

What happened to "Tanks"? That was such a great commercial during it's time.

The guy second from left in the frame from the "1984" commercial looks like a thinned-down Steve Ballmer...

I miss the days when you could download the ads from Apple (if you had QuickTime Pro) in your choice of resolutions. I collected (relatively) high-res versions of many of those ads. I particularly enjoyed showing the get-a-mac ads to my PC using friends. ;-)

As for the 1234 iPod ad, though I didn't buy a nano, I did go to Amazon to buy the Feist album that included the song. Ironically, it was available for less at Amazon than it was at the iTunes store.
