Their two big new features - App Studio (won't be ready for 90 days) and Blio for Mac isn't even out yet. I assume iPads will access Blio separately, and what about your Apps and having to deal with Apple via iTunes where it'll be distributed? No mention of that?
I'm still a huge fan of Xpress and our companies use it every day in life as our main DTP software - mostly still v7.5 and a few 8.5.
I'd like to know why they didn't they just wait until it was all ready instead of rushing it all out early? I feel they need to show a discernible quality difference with their product, their company and their support compared to Adobe if they want to survive and carve out a qualityY niche for themselves instead of this Corel-esque release.
Also their pricing is ridiculous for a single piece of software compared to Adobe's multi-faceted software. It's time they woke up and priced both the retail and upgrades competitively at last... like the upgrades reduced to $99 bucks from $299, and the full software being $299-$399. They'd get a hell of a lot more folks coming back to them with that strategy than what they're currently doing.
