This looks interesting, but I'd be wary of trying it without some kind of demo. I bought a Pioneer iPod compatible stereo for my car and the interface seems to have been designed by a dyslexic crack addict.

Really REALLY terrible interface. Almost so bad I considered ripping it out and starting over with an Alpine unit.

I think I'll wait a while and see what the competition comes up with.

I'm wondering if they've fixed the downgrading of audio in the lower end receivers with HDMI. In previous older models with HDMI, the audio still seems to get downgraded to 2.0 for some reason. It was only the $800 and up models that didn't.

Leave it to Pioneer to make an Apple compatible device that has a Windows only set up app.

A company as small as Pioneer can't afford to buy a Mac or find developers.
