Cisco Linksys E4200 router

What a waste of discussion space. Waaah, the lights are on back. I lack the strength in my forearms to pick up the unit and look at the back. My mom isn't here to tell me what to do. Geez.
Clearly you've never tried to pick up a router with numerous Ethernet cables attached - some of which may not be long enough to allow for turning over the router as they connect to devices not on the desktop. As well it appears you've never used a router's signal lights to troubleshoot a network, so the absence of some indicators means nothing to you. That's a lot of scorn for so little experience.
The E4200 has an excellent feature set and is an elegantly designed device, but there are trade-offs for that elegant design. That's all I'm saying. As well, for those who need an upright router, Linksys makes several models in that configuration. It's no slight to say that a given model serves some purposes better than others.
