It's "blue" not "green" when you are browsing through encrypted site... At least for me (Firefox).

It should be noted that turning on the HTTPS feature does not affect the login screen. For that, you need to manually browse to https://www.facebook.com. If you just type "facebook.com" into the address bar, you'll get the unsecured login page. Go to the HTTPS site, bookmark it, and then you don't have to worry about it. This is probably the most important thing, because it contains your login credentials.
