I like the shots at Android. Just because you write about Macs and iOS, doesn't mean you have to take a shot at Android.

Yep, I'd gladly fork over the money for a MLB.tv subscription, but I can't watch my local team on it. Oh well.

He also failed to mention that mlb at bat even exists for blackberry. It does and I use it pretty frequently. I understand if they only want to mention stuff that has to do with iPhone because this is a apple news website but don't say they also have an app for android just so you can bash it and then pretend it doesn't exist for blackberry.

The so-called "shots at Android" were shortcomings mentioned specifically by the subject of the interview, and not dragged in by the author to take a poke at Android. It is just this sort of public feedback that will make Android stronger in the long term: by limiting front-end customization, Google will be able to guarantee a certain kind of experience for all users, and not have developers dragging behind or ignoring the platform because of the fragmentation.

The shots at Android were taken by MLB's mobile product manager. I just relayed them. Or does the real-world experience of an Android developer not matter to you?

The BlackBerry app doesn't really have anything new, but I did mention it. In my story about the new apps. Which is here:

Ageed. Blackout of in-market games is a deal killer for me.

No local games live on mlb.tv

No local games AT ALL, not even archived, on at Bat.

So, what exactly is all this good for? So I can watch what, exactly?

Blame your local TV station for blackouts. They insist on it to show the games.

Guys, just connect thorugh a VPN with an European/International IP, that would do it (will be cheaper than cable/sat).
