One additional advantage the iPad has is to teach not only the alphabet but how to actually write the letters as well. Here are the best 5 apps for learning how to write letters: http://appsforkid.co...1/10/ace-write/

Hi :)

You should really check out BOGGA ALPHABET where your kids can paint letters that turn into fridge magnets. Fun and educational!

These are some really nice alphabet apps. Nice designs, which isn't always the case.
ForDyslexia has also just launched an ABC app called I CAN ALPHABETICS. https://itunes.apple...97604?l=es&mt=8
It is a very complete app with multisensory games: listen, find, say, trace... There is a quiz to make sure the child has learned the sound and shape of the letter before s/he is allowed to move on to the next. And parents can see the progress in an individualized report. The app was designed specifically for the needs of children with dyslexia, but any child will have fun learning the alphabet with this app.
