Can someone explain to me what this article has to do with anything Mac or Apple?

It's a competitor in the smartphone wars, in which the iPhone is also involved. Can HP's offerings beat the iPhone? Not now. Still, competition is good for the industry.

"The keyboard really is a pain to use, and with no software keyboard alternative, you’re stuck with it."

Good grief, if it's hard to read text on this small screen, how in the world could a software keyboard be feasible? You've got to have trade-offs in a unit this small. The reviewer's attitude is slightly illogical.

Quite true, she is illogical. I think the only way to make sense of this muddle is her statement, "I've been a big fan of WebOS..." statement early on.
